GUIDELINES
FOR CIYSL OFFICIALS ** Arrive 20 Minutes Prior to game time in order to:
** Procedure for ID Card check:
** As an official, If you are threatened, either physically or verbally, notify the League Office with in 48 hours of the incident(s). ** As an official, If you are forced to terminate a league game, please file a written report of the incident(s) to the League Office within 48 hours. ** Central Illinois Youth Soccer League games are auspiciously sanctioned by the IYSA and USYSA. Therefore, the CIYSL games MUST BE PLAYED in accordance with FIFA-USSF "Laws of the Game". ** CIYSL Substitution Rules: · Prior to a throw-in in your favor ** CIYSL Length of games: · Under 19/18/17 Two 45-min. halves size 5 ball** The CIYSL supports the position of the IYSA, USYSA and USSF in regards to the referee system used in the CIYSL sanctioned games. A three person system is the only recognized system. It is the CIYSL position that all league and sanctioned games should be covered by a three person referee system. A two person system is NOT recognized by the league. A three person system is either three certified referees or a center certified referee and two club lines persons. ** The CIYSL approved referee fees for referee/linesmen for scheduled, official league games would be:
Any fee in excess of these fees would be paid by the host team/club. This does not include friendly/pick up games that are not league scheduled. Any additional fees that a team/club may want to pay (travel expenses) are at the discretion of the local team/club.
